The purpose of this website is to demonstrate to potential producers, directors, investors, theatrical agents, actors, etc. — via the Masque animatic/motion comic — the look of the show, how it might be staged, and above all to showcase the music.

Since the two-hour “Masque of the Red Death – a Musical Thriller” animatic, co-produced by Warp Graphics and Ascendent Animation, was released on Amazon Prime Video in September 2024, it has received unanimous 5-star reviews. The two disc Blu-ray set repeatedly sells out.

Like the Japanese manga-based musicals (Death Note, Black Butler, Spirited Away, Attack on Titan the Musical, etc.) currently storming stages in Asia – and even America – the Masque musical is finding its audience: a younger crowd that loves dark, adult-oriented fantasy/sci-fi anime, live action films, and gaming.

In the futuristic world of Masque, gender is fluid and sexual orientation has no labels. Racism, sexism, homophobia – these do not exist. Even though this adaptation is faithful to Edgar Allan Poe’s fatalistic horror story, we feel the Masque musical promotes the idea of a future right here where love is love and where equality and inclusivity are the norm.
